Historically, the prime months for home sales stretch from March through June. However, the last quarter of the year, excluding December, can also be an opportune time.

The statistics reveal that May, June, and July consistently show higher closing numbers, with August also performing well. It’s crucial to remember that sales closing in July likely went pending in June, meaning the best time to have your home on the market could be as early as April or May. The 2023 market, while a rollercoaster, indicated April as the peak month for sales, suggesting that listing in March could position you well for an April sale.
